What is the first day of treatment like?
Your first day may take 2-3 hours and includes:
- Intake assessment: We’ll review your health history, substance use and recovery goals to understand your needs.
- Medical evaluation: A BHG provider will conduct a physical exam, review your medical history and discuss treatment options. If appropriate, medication treatment can begin the same day.

What happens if I relapse?
Relapse does not mean failure. At BHG Brooklyn Park Treatment Center, if a relapse occurs, our team works with you to understand what happened and adjust your treatment plan.
