Medications Medications

  • Methadone Treatment

Provided through our opioid treatment program (OTP), methadone is taken daily under medical supervision. It helps relieve withdrawal symptoms, reduces cravings and stabilizes patients.

  • Buprenorphine Treatment (Suboxone®)

Offered both in-clinic (OTP) and by prescription (OBOT), buprenorphine (including Suboxone®) provides flexibility for patients. It controls cravings and withdrawal symptoms while supporting long-term stability.

  • Extended-Release Buprenorphine (Sublocade® and/or Brixadi®)

For those who prefer a weekly or once-monthly option, the extended-release buprenorphine injection (like Sublocade® and Brixadi®) provides relief from withdrawal symptoms and cravings with just one dose.

  • Naltrexone Treatment (Vivitrol®)

Used as part of our outpatient recovery programs (OTP and OBOT), naltrexone (including Vivitrol®) is a medication that blocks the effects of opioids and reduces cravings.

I’ve been working with BHG for several months, and the difference it has made in my life has been incredible. After struggling with opioid use for more than five years, I finally feel like I’m getting my life back. My dosing has been right where it needs to be, and I’ve been gradually tapering down with the goal of being off medication by Christmas. My insurance covers everything except a small weekly copay, which is nothing compared to what I was spending before treatment. The staff is great, and the program is working for me. My relationships with my kids, my parents, and my partner have all improved since I started. I can’t say enough about how much my life has changed for the better in just a few months. If you’re struggling, don’t be afraid to reach out to BHG. The staff has treated me with understanding and helped me get back on track. I’m grateful I took that first step. Thank you, BHG, for helping me make changes I once struggled to believe were possible.

Great staff from the check in desk with Lisa and Sienna, who's gone above and beyond to help me figure things out, to the nurses and counselors who have been so supportive and helpful as well as everyone else I've met that works there: Cozy, Barbara, Leah, and so many others (wish I had room here to name each and everyone of them)! They ALL treat people with dignity and respect as they help them through their own personal situation! I was unsure about taking the step of going in but I couldn't be happier that I did! They've been super welcoming and have made me feel they truly care about their patients! The entire staff has made all the difference! If you or anyone you know are thinking about making the call, do it! If you're ready and willing they'll be there to help and guide you through every step of the way to reach your best you!

I came fm another clinic and was very anxious of the sudden change to BHG due to the negativity I heard. That anxiety started fading as I learned the program and what is expected of me as a patient and NOT JUST A NUMBER . I love my counselor Leslie, she's amazing! She has respect for others and even helped me gain the courage to reconnect with a daughter who had been adopted. She taught me what to expect when buying a home and lead me in that direction. She listens as a friend would, without judgement. I also love Lisa. I go to her groups alot and enjoy what I learn and use those lessons daily. She also treats me with respect and understanding. The nurses behind the pharmacy are also kind and willing to help. As for the clinic , I would recommend here if you're sick and tired of being sick and tired and searching for recovery... full time recovery. Give them a chance. Everyone's experience is different, our journeys is as such... ours. We Do Recover
