Medications Medications

  • Methadone Treatment

Provided through our opioid treatment program (OTP), methadone is taken daily under medical supervision. It helps relieve withdrawal symptoms, reduces cravings and stabilizes patients.

  • Buprenorphine Treatment (Suboxone®)

Offered both in-clinic (OTP) and by prescription (OBOT), buprenorphine (including Suboxone®) provides flexibility for patients. It controls cravings and withdrawal symptoms while supporting long-term stability.

  • Extended-Release Buprenorphine (Sublocade® and Brixadi®)

For those who prefer a weekly or once-monthly option, the extended-release buprenorphine injection (like Sublocade® and Brixadi®) provides relief from withdrawal symptoms and cravings with just one dose.

  • Naltrexone Treatment (Vivitrol®)

Used as part of our outpatient recovery programs (OTP and OBOT), naltrexone (including Vivitrol®) is a medication that blocks the effects of opioids and reduces cravings.

Only reason I’m not going to give 5 * is because the billing department is ridiculous. It took me 12 months to get them to start billing my insurance and they are still 6mo behind. Everything else is great, people are nice, front desk, counselors, dosing nurses, etc. all great.

I called on a Wednesday and they told me to come in anytime before 10:30 am Monday through Friday. However I called to let them know I was for sure coming in. They said it was fine. So the next day Thursday morning I showed up at the clinic with my Identification and my health insurance card. I arrived about 8:30am. They were very polite and nice. Made me feel really comfortable. After filling out some basic information they swiftly took me back and started the intake process. They ask you tons of questions and it takes probably about 45 minutes to do the initial paperwork and intake. Then I took a drug screen. Then the nurse came took my vitals and talked to me about my health. Then after about 3 hours I talked to the Dr via Skype. And within 3 1/2 hours I was giving my first dose and sent home. It was the best decision I'd made in a long time. I regret not doing it months ago. I can go in and in 3 minutes I'm dosed and out the door. You start with 1 take home per week. I now see a light at the end of the tunnel. I can now start focusing on rebuilding and doing productive things with my time. I know that having to go every day and dose tends to be hard for a lot of people. Don't hold me to this but I've noticed a rtec bus show up a few times while I've been there and several people went in off of it. Again I don't know anything about that personally. But I seen them bringing patients there to dose. I tend to look at it like I had to chase the other stuff all day and then worry about if my plug has it or if there home. Well I don't have to worry cause I know there there and there always gonna be there to help me. So it's about learning healthy routines and about showing responsibility. I'm now focusing on rebuilding my life, enjoying my life, fixing my torn relationships. So many people want to put down methadone maintenance. But it's saved so many life's. I had no other options, id tried Suboxone but I couldn't stop the stuff to even get on Suboxone. It would throw me into sever withdrawal even after I went a few days clean. Guess this new stuff on the streets is different. But don't let anyone else tell you that you shouldn't try methadone. It saves life's. Hopefully you find this review helpful cause I answered the questions that I had but no one else could tell me. 12-19-23
