Methadone & Suboxone Clinic in Tuscaloosa, AL

Every nurse, counselor, and staff member we have interacted with has shown consistent compassion and effort. This clinic seems to have way more patients than it used to, and I think it's under-staffed, but that doesn't stop the folks at the front desk from treating everyone who walks through the door with kindness. The counselors we've worked with have been enormously helpful and go out of their way to be understanding. We drive a long way to get to the Tuscaloosa location, and while sometimes unforseen circumstances cause difficulties with take-home doses, etc , the people there always do their best to make our experience painless. I hope folks will return the favor and treat the employees here with compassion and patience, as so much bureaucracy around MAT is out of their hands. I say we should appreciate their commitment to helping people heal safely.

I have had an extremely excellent experience with BHG Tuscaloosa Treatment Center. All of the staff have good vibes and make you feel welcome and not judged in any way. Karina works at the front desk and always answers any questions I have with a beautiful smile. She gets everyone checked in as quickly as possible. Whitney is a counselor at BHG and she deserves an award or something. I haven’t been going here long, but she has made me feel very welcome and comfortable. She is a wonderful counselor and I’m so grateful I have her as my counselor. She’s always so helpful and is always there to answer any questions I may have and her smile is contagious. She is just amazing. Sacarah works the security and she does a great job and Debra is also a very good employee at BHG. She will make you feel as comfortable as possible when she does her job. The whole staff is just amazing if you ask me. Dr. Hooper is a wonderful doctor and always answers any questions I may have about my treatment plan. I would recommend anyone to come here that needs any kind of help bc they will help you as long as you’re willing to accept the help. I’m grateful for BHG and how they are helping me. The whole team works together and it’s just a great place so if you’re thinking about coming, but you’re nervous then you shouldn’t be. You’ll love it here.

It’s somewhere that you can for sure to deal at home and it saves lives if you have family that needs help come here and try it out

I saw the helpfulness of this program when Ciarra a counselor throughly explained how people recover with and with out medication assistance, and everyone's recovery looks different. She is very patient. She talked about the different programs available for different goals. Sometimes you have to pay a bit with insurance, and other times a government grant will pay for everything completely. I appreciate her time.

I've been to several MMT locations in Alabama. This clinic by far is the best one !!! All the staff and counselors are great and there's never nomore that around 7 people in line if that someday only 1-2 people in line
