My overall view of BHG and some of the team is very good,Craig,Tory,Karen and Nico are just a few of the works that make my dosing alot more pleasant! Nobody wants to go to a methadone clinic everyday,so the workers make alot bearable to deal with!!!

Before I review would like to post this to help every patient out who on here simply to find dosing hours with no luck. CLINIC DOSING HOURS: (Lobby is locked for their break/lunch) Sunday - CLOSED Monday-FRI: 5am-10:45; 12PM 3PM (arrive by 245 to ensure being able to dose) Saturday: 5AM-9AM: 9:30AM-11:AM Are they perfect? No. But They are better than the other clinics I have been to. A lot of your experience is based on your counselor and thankfully, mine happens to be the best (Dillon) it also depends how well you communicate. Dr. Lamb is great. He's been saying he's retiring at the end of the year every year since I've been there but I'm glad he hasn't. He really does care about his patients and has taken time out of his day to advocate for me and take away the stigma from MAT.

Update: my new counselor called me in her office last week to tell me they were able to finally send the drug test back off and it came back clean so I am getting my take homes now. Thank you bhg for taking care of this issue!!! Original review: I have been a patient of BHG in Elizabethtown, Louisville and London however I've seen the same Dr. Santana at each clinic via zoom. Elizabethtown, Louisville and London were amazing. They truly cared and did everything they could to make my life easier and support my recovery. When I transferred to Lexington I was almost 4 months clean and had the drug screens on file to prove it. The doctor was going to give me weekly take homes after I did a lab test that I requested called a peak and trough. So I came everyday, did the lab test, asked every day for 2 weeks about the said lab work and when I was getting my take homes and everyone told me as soon as the lab test came back. Well today I'm told I need to update my treatment plan and since I don't have a counselor the on call counselor Dillon is the one to make and have me sign the new treatment plan and when I ask about my take homes he tells me I'm not getting any take homes because on the day of my intake my urine test came back positive for fentanyl which absolutely had to be a false positive. I asked for a retest because I know 1000% that's false and the counselor told me that he could not retest it and all of my clean screens were now void due to this one test that no one told me about until today. I don't have a counselor that is responsible for my case for whatever reason. I signed a treatment plan saying I'm supposed to meet with a counselor weekly and I have only met with a counselor for the first time today 4/8 since my transfer intake in 3/11. This place is unfair, 4 months of staying sober just was thrown out the window. If you are truly sober and trying to work towards take homes and you have the means to go to another clinic instead of here, do it. Do not come here, after today I am going to call the other 3 clinics that I am very well known and loved by the staff and have them connect me with anyone and everyone who is in charge of this place.
