Medications Medications

  • Methadone Treatment

Provided through our opioid treatment program (OTP), methadone is taken daily under medical supervision. It helps relieve withdrawal symptoms, reduces cravings and stabilizes patients.

  • Buprenorphine Treatment (Suboxone®)

Offered both in-clinic (OTP) and by prescription (OBOT), buprenorphine (including Suboxone®) provides flexibility for patients. It controls cravings and withdrawal symptoms while supporting long-term stability.

  • Extended-Release Buprenorphine (Sublocade® and/or Brixadi®)

For those who prefer a weekly or once-monthly option, the extended-release buprenorphine injection (like Sublocade® and Brixadi®) provides relief from withdrawal symptoms and cravings with just one dose.

  • Naltrexone Treatment (Vivitrol®)

Used as part of our outpatient recovery programs (OTP and OBOT), naltrexone (including Vivitrol®) is a medication that blocks the effects of opioids and reduces cravings.

First off the whole staff is awesome, all are professional and are there for you no matter what, the program is organized in a great way and for anybody struggling with opiod dependency this is a way better way to get help and a way to not have to do the cold turkey writing if you want to call it that and no withdrawals to suffer thru, and they also are able to help people who are addicted to heroin to get off of that stuff and also they offer the Suboxone program for people who need help in that area.

Great staff and if you are really dedicated to the program and do it the correct way it will save your life. When I started the clinic I was going through a hard time and my councilor really helped me. 3 years later I am going through another hard time and once again I have a great councilor there to help. I have been in the program for 3 years and it changed my quality of life and gave me hope to live a "normal" life. So if you are SERIOUS about stopping drugs and want to use all the services available for you at BHG then it can help you! There are some amazing success stories out there and I hope someone reaching out for help comes across a positive review to encourage them to seek treatment rather then coming across the negative reviews I have read from some seriously misinformed people. I read a review on here that started with "this is a scam" and went on about how methadone doesn't save lives and all this. All i have to say is this person is seriously misinformed. A lot of people are misinformed. So unless you are a licensed doctor or addiction councilor you have no place to tell people it is a "scam" as i read one lady put it.
