Medications Medications

  • Methadone Treatment

Provided through our opioid treatment program (OTP), methadone is taken daily under medical supervision. It helps relieve withdrawal symptoms, reduces cravings and stabilizes patients.

  • Buprenorphine Treatment (Suboxone®)

Offered both in-clinic (OTP) and by prescription (OBOT), buprenorphine (including Suboxone®) provides flexibility for patients. It controls cravings and withdrawal symptoms while supporting long-term stability.

  • Extended-Release Buprenorphine (Sublocade® and/or Brixadi®)

For those who prefer a weekly or once-monthly option, the extended-release buprenorphine injection (like Sublocade® and Brixadi®) provides relief from withdrawal symptoms and cravings with just one dose.

  • Naltrexone Treatment (Vivitrol®)

Used as part of our outpatient recovery programs (OTP and OBOT), naltrexone (including Vivitrol®) is a medication that blocks the effects of opioids and reduces cravings.

I just wanted to give a shout out to BHG, I know these past few months haven't been the easiest. Moving buildings, new patients, construction, power outages. But one thing has stayed consistent, the love & compassion ❤️ It may take a little longer in the morning, it may take a moment to speak to our counselors. But its part of growing together. Every single patient that comes in, wants to fly threw intake. They think it should take 20 minutes, but in reality it can take a few hours. I think we should also take into consideration that some who work here, are also recovering addicts. Its important that we all work together especially in these times. Bhg has completely changed my life for the better!!! I love all the counselors here, all the employees, and Dr's "Mrs Iris" WE ALL LOVE YOU ❤️ Moving to this location meant meeting new people, friends, and addicts. I think its important we all take into consideration that these people get up at 4 am to be at this office on time to unlock the doors for us. We all have more than enough room for seating, there's book clubs, zoom meetings. I personally haven't used the options around me that I should. So this week I'm going to try something new. I thought in the beginning this was a place to come to make sure I wasn't sick for the day.... boy was I absolutely wrong!!!! I've come to really love and appreciate everyone here. They watch you grow, work for your goals, and become anything you put your minds to. Patience is needed, we're all adults here. We should be more understanding & remember why these employees wake up everyday, for us. I CAN PERSONALLY SAY BHG HAS SAVED MY LIFE! I absolutely recommend 5 stars 🌟 from me 🥰 - love lexi
