Medications Medications

  • Methadone Treatment

Provided through our opioid treatment program (OTP), methadone is taken daily under medical supervision. It helps relieve withdrawal symptoms, reduces cravings and stabilizes patients.

  • Buprenorphine Treatment (Suboxone®)

Offered both in-clinic (OTP) and by prescription (OBOT), buprenorphine (including Suboxone®) provides flexibility for patients. It controls cravings and withdrawal symptoms while supporting long-term stability.

  • Extended-Release Buprenorphine (Sublocade® and Brixadi®)

For those who prefer a once-monthly option, the extended-release buprenorphine injection (like Sublocade® and Brixadi®) provides relief from withdrawal symptoms and cravings with just one dose a month.

  • Naltrexone Treatment (Vivitrol®)

Used as part of our outpatient recovery programs (OTP and OBOT), naltrexone (including Vivitrol®) is a medication that blocks the effects of opioids and reduces cravings.

There are some amazing men and women at this facility that deeply care about there clients. There are 4 women specifically that have been there for me so so much with their support and kindness over the years that it makes me really enjoy seeing them all the time. These women’s names are Cathy, Emily, Shawna, and Bridget. They are so so fantastic and kind I would be deeply sad if they ever left. They have provided me with so much loving care they all should be recognized as champions of Fort Collins BHG!

I don't get out much. I have the most human contact through BHG. Everyone there is really friendly, upbeat, positive and I never feel judged and I go in my pj's sometimes. For me it's a tie between my two favorite people. Cathy aka sparkles! I feel that she goes above and beyond what is expected when she helps me out. You know what I mean right sparkles. And Courtney Moore she is very sweet and always has cool stickers for everyone. I feel that she goes above and beyond what is expected of her. They are both really easy to talk to. But really everyone I have interacted with has been extremely friendly and attentive. So I wanna say thank you to all of the awesome people at BHG Fort Collins for making me feel welcomed with your friendly upbeat attitudes. God bless all of you... I'm thankful you all are there doin what you do to help save people's lives. Cause really overall that's what you guys do. 💜
