Medications Medications

  • Methadone Treatment

Provided through our opioid treatment program (OTP), methadone is taken daily under medical supervision. It helps relieve withdrawal symptoms, reduces cravings and stabilizes patients.

  • Buprenorphine Treatment (Suboxone®)

Offered both in-clinic (OTP) and by prescription (OBOT), buprenorphine (including Suboxone®) provides flexibility for patients. It controls cravings and withdrawal symptoms while supporting long-term stability.

  • Extended-Release Buprenorphine (Sublocade® and Brixadi®)

For those who prefer a once-monthly option, the extended-release buprenorphine injection (like Sublocade® and Brixadi®) provides relief from withdrawal symptoms and cravings with just one dose a month.

  • Naltrexone Treatment (Vivitrol®)

Used as part of our outpatient recovery programs (OTP and OBOT), naltrexone (including Vivitrol®) is a medication that blocks the effects of opioids and reduces cravings.

I have been coming to BHG and I have been bounced around to many counselors at BHG that have been mediocre at best. Sam honestly is the reason why I am sober today. He is very positive, He genuinely cares, and he has gone above and beyond for me to get me on the right track. He has gotten me enrolled into school to get my GED for free and he has given me more community support than any counselor I have ever had. between my previous 5 counselors Sam is by far the best.

We have been coming to this location for 7 years. We live across town and still come to this location. Its had its issues but Kim the program director is top notch and Jen Cassidy our counselor is the reason why we stay. If you want your life back make a appointment and get in here. You won't regret it.

I was a client of BHG for 8 years and the staff there is awesome. The director Kim helped me through really hard times in my life and I cannot say enough about her, she is awesome. Head nurse Jackie is awesome and it was very hard for me emotionally to leave and go to different clinic and they made the transition easy. Thank you for all your help Kim.
